Day 1

Day visit to the Rose City from Aqaba Port


Welcome to Jordan and start your amazing Holiday! Upon arrival Aqaba Port, you will be met by our representative and drive to Petra to spend the day with your private guide exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rose City of Petra. The ancient site rediscovered in 1812 AD, and it was first settled around the 6th century BC by the Nabataean tribe from Arabian Peninsula. Start your magnificent archaeological treasure visit of the Rose City on foot through a narrow Siq, where the gorge leads you to reveal the famous facade of Al-Khazneh (the Treasury). Continuing your walk inside the ancient site and explore tombs, temples, an extraordinary Amphitheatre and a Roman colonnaded street. In late afternoon, drive back to Aqaba Port for departure.
